ONOFRYIESE Liudmyla Mykhaivna was born on June 2, 1992. She finished secondary school in 2008, graduated from Bukovinian University in 2014 majoring in Accounting and Audit, and National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine in 2018.
She started volunteer work in 2008.
In 2008-2012 she did volunteer work in Hertsa District Veterans Council as a volunteer manager on a pro bono basis. In 2013-2022 she was a head of PENSIONER Volunteer Centre on a pro bono basis. Since 2018 to date she has been the President of the Charitable Organization “SHISHIRALAY Women and Children Charitable Welfare Society”, founder of the Help Centre for Women and Children against Domestic Violence. Since 2019 to date she has been working in the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as an assistant and consultant to the people’s deputy of Ukraine. Since 2021 she has been working as a regional consultant for state awards in the President’s Office, and since January 2023 to date as a regional consultant for barrier-free environment in the President’s Office. Since 2022 she has been the head of the people’s diplomacy group in order to help Ukraine.
During her professional and volunteer work she provided humanitarian aid from international benefactors to veterans of the WWII, the elderly people, war children, liquidators of nuclear power plant accident, to children in orphanages, and since 2014 to date she has sent humanitarian aid to our soldiers in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. After the start of the full-scale war she arranged a volunteer centre in the admission office of the people’s deputy of Ukraine H. Mazurashu, where volunteers received displaced persons, collected and sent humanitarian aid to our soldiers on the front line.
As a head of the charitable fund, Liudmyla continues to cooperate with international benefactors and foreign charitable organizations from Belgium, Italy (Milan), France, India, Poland, Canada, Germany, Romania, USA and Moldova, for the purpose of receiving humanitarian aid for our soldiers and civilians from occupied and de-occupied territories. Since 2022 and to date our fund has sent humanitarian aid to our soldiers on the front line and to hospitals in such regions as Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Lviv. In 2022 she travelled many times to morgues in Kramatorsk, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi to pick bodies of our soldiers and to bring them to Chernivtsi.
In our charitable fund there is a centre providing help to women and children who suffered from domestic violence and abuse from invaders. The centre provides psychological, medical, legal aid and help with studies and employment. Out centre has received over 2,000 women and 1,250 children for temporary residence. They received 3 daily meals free of charge and humanitarian aid, etc., and the centre paid for that. Our centre also provides care to children from orphanages from the occupied territories. Within the scope of cooperation and memoranda signed with international clinics our centre refers our soldiers and children for treatment and rehabilitation abroad, in particular to Dubrava Clinic in the friendly Croatia. As a part of cooperation with US partners, she opened 5 branches of the charitable fund outside Ukraine and 6 branches in Ukraine, and in 2023 she opened a second help centre Dream and Victories for the purpose of help to our soldiers.
While working in the fund Liudmyla and her team did a lot to help our Ukrainian people and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the course of her volunteer and charity work Liudmyla was awarded over 150 letters of commendation and appreciation from public authorities and military units, won various charity contests in social and volunteer work category, was awarded decorations and commendations from the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine, and two international decorations from charitable organizations from Milan and Croatia.
